About the Role:
As an SSD Validation Intern at Micron, you will be responsible for developing test scripts to validate SSD firmware for Micron NAND-based systems and solutions. Your role will involve functional, system-level, and customer qualification tests, collaborating with Micron’s Datacenter customers, and helping improve product quality. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in SSD validation and work closely with teams in a fast-paced, cutting-edge environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement firmware and device validation test plans.
- Integrate tests into an automated test environment and collaborate with test execution teams to drive validation strategies.
- Review, track, and document test results and findings.
- Interface with other product development teams to drive issues to closure.
- Work closely with Datacenter customers to improve cycle time and product quality.
- Demonstrate success in communicating project status, issues, concerns, and strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating system debugging.
- Proficient in Python coding.
- Good understanding of system storage, including CPU, Memory, PCIe, drivers, OS, and firmware.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to handle ambiguity and work independently to meet defined goals.
